What are huck towels?

Huck towels, sometimes known as surgical towels, are made of 100 percent cotton, are very absorbent, and have a minimal lint content. They generally have smooth sides, stitched edges, and come in a variety of colors, the most popular of which are blue and green.

Why are they called surgical towels?

Surgical towels receive their name from the fact that they are frequently used to drape over a patient during a surgical operation. They are also the cloth of choice for cleaning sterilized medical equipment due to their minimal lint content.

How do you use these towels?

The huck towel is one of, if not the most, popular towel alternatives for washing windows in the cleaning business since it leaves no lint and leaves a streak-free finish. Many cleaning businesses choose to utilize huck towels for mirror cleaning, surface cleaning, and any other cleaning application that demands a lint-free surface, in addition to windows.

Are huck towels durable? How long will they last?

Yes! When properly cared for, these towels are quite sturdy and will last a long time. They may be washed several times without losing their absorbency or softness. They are frequently repurposed as cleaning cloths after being used in healthcare institutions. We sell both new and recycled huck towels at Patel Towel Industries.

What’s the difference between new and reclaimed or recycled ones?

New huck towels are brand new towels that have been pre-washed and absorbency treated. As previously stated, recovered towels are frequently obtained from hospitals and other healthcare institutions and are used as cleaning cloths. Reclaimed towels are preferred by many cleaning firms over new towels since they are less expensive and are already broken in and softer.

Can I wash them? Any tips on washing instructions?

Absolutely! These towels may be washed many times and get softer with time. Simply toss them in the washing machine. We recommend using approximately half as much detergent as usual. Another suggestion is to just wash them with huck towels. Anything else in the load, like terry bath towels, can shed lint that may become stuck in the towel’s strands.

How are huck towels sold?

We have everything you require. New huck towels are available in bulk per bale (400 towels per bale) or by the pound in cartons. We offer 5, 10, 25, and 50-pound package sizes for both virgin and recovered towels when purchasing by the pound.

We also offer a retail-packaged bag of 50 towels, which is a great point-of-sale alternative. We offer five more color variations in addition to our popular blue huck towels. The dozen are placed inside each carton, with ten dozen each case. These towel bundles are ready to sell on the internet (with UPC and suffocation warning in a polybag). Here’s where you can find them.
